MoveKing Covid-19 Policy and Procedures
As the world continues to feel the impact of the pandemic Move King prioritizes protecting the health and safety of our customers, employees and communities with following MoveKing Covid-19 Policy and Procedures
In accordance to the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and CAL OSHA, MoveKing maintains a plan to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace including mandatory use of face coverings, protocols for screening employees, ongoing cleaning and disinfecting, and physical distancing guidelines. As our services take place in customer’s home or office specific procedures include:
VIRTUAL VIDEO SURVEYS: We have the ability to perform a virtual video survey of your home or office. All prospective customers are offered an alternative to the traditional on-site pre-move survey. This minimizes face-to-face contact time and still allows our moving consultants to provide accurate move estimates.
INCREASED CLEANING: All moving trucks and offices are equipped with disinfectant wipes or spray. We focus on increased cleaning on frequently touched surfaces using an antimicrobial disinfectant on the EPA list of COVID-19 fighting products. Some examples of surfaces cleaned include door handles, steering wheels, phones, and work surfaces.
SOCIAL DISTANCING: Upon arrival to our customer’s home or office, the crew will be practicing the 6′ social distancing with customers. We have always valued the professionalism and respect that came with a good introductory handshake, however during this COVID-19 period, we ask that our customers understand for safety purposes, there will be no handshaking or touching.
OPEN DOORWAYS AND WINDOWS WHEN AVAILABLE: In residential or office move settings, we will ask our customers to open outside doors and windows to increase air circulation when possible.
We closely monitor local and national reports on the ongoing impact of COVID-19 and follow the guidance set forth from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization and applicable public health agencies. Please contact our office with for the latest updates or revisions and with any questions you may have.
Again, the health and safety of our customers, employees and communities are our top priority and we’re committed to doing our part to help keep everyone safe.
